[Solved] Your import language doesnt work

Not only does it not say when/if i have successfully uploaded a file, when I import the translation nothing happens… Advise.

      It is not specific to my account, your language importer is not correct… I have tried multiple computers, multiple surveys, and all of your methods. You have zero validation verifying the successful upload of the CSV file or anything…

       

      Give it a shot on your own forms! If you export a translation, you cannot create a new language using this translation.

        • I just did a test in my account again, and I’m still able to create a new language using my file. I wonder if I’m doing something slightly different in my process than you are.

          Here’s what I’ve tried:

          1) Make a survey in English
          2) Go to Tools > Text/Translations
          3) Export fields for translation, change in Excel, save.
          4) Add translation. Choose language, click Import Translated Fields, choose file, save.
          OR
          4) Choose language, then click Add Language (without choosing a file). I then choose Import Translation on the actual language page.

          Both of these methods seem to work ok for me. Can you tell me what steps you’re taking? What language are you trying to import? Can you reply to the ticket we created and attach the file you’re trying to use so that we can try that one?
