Can I write a custom way to score a quiz?

I want to create a test that has multiple categories of questions that the end user cannot see.  After they answer all of the questions, I would love to be able to score each category separately and return a couple of different answers.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I’m assuming I may have to write some custom scripts to accomplish this?

I’m not sure if a customization is required…

SurveyGizmo has two different Quiz Types described here:

You could create a separate Quiz Action for each of your categories. Let’s say you have 5 categories, you could have 5 different Quiz Score actions each responsible for scoring only the questions that belong to a specific category.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what you want but might help.

      • I actually think that will work, thanks so much for the suggestion. Is there a way to retrieve these scores via API?
