[Solved] Why is there a date submitted for partial surveys?

For people who never make it to the end of the survey and click submit, how is the variable for “Date Submitted” calculated? When they close the tab?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. This will help us understand our results.

For the date submitted, it’s the date they submit the form. Partials will never have that because they haven’t hit submit on the last page of your survey. SurveyGizmo does have a couple ways that you can monitor even if they don’t hit the thank you page, like the page timer.  I hope that helps!

When I was testing out an internal survey, I noticed that on the individual response pages at the top there is a Submitted Date and Time, even for the Partials.  This was when I last closed the survey window.
