[Solved] What is the best way to get customer data into the results file?

0

I want to have the results file to include data that is on the customer list used for emailing, such as customer number, customer value, and account manager.  But I am not sure of the best way to do this.

I do not want the customer to see the data, it is just something I want added to their results.

Do I use URL Variables, Merge Codes, or is there a different way.  I’m sure this is a simple question and just may be confusing myself.

It sounds like you want to pre-populate a survey response with customer data but do now want to show it to the survey respondent.

There are a few methods for pre-populating a survey… the most common option is an email campaign:

You can create Hidden Values on any survey page where you can use merge codes to pre-populate data from an email campaign.

Here is a link with some other pre population options:

    I hope this helps!

Thanks Lola.  I think the wide range of possibilities was defeating me.  I’ve used the Hidden Value approach.
