Using logic for a based pipe question

0

Hi everyone!

I want to do an NPS question from previously checkbox selected items using pipe and if the answer is lower than 6 in one of the NPS question ask why for this specific item but I having trouble because the logic is ignored. Example:

Q1. Select your prefered real estate:

A. TestA [select]

B. TestB [select]

C. TestC

D. TestD [select]

Q2. What is TestA note: 5

Q2. What is TestB note: 8

Q2. What is TestD note: 3

Q3. Why this note for TestA: […]

Q3. Why this note for TestD: […]

Is it possible? If yes how can I do this? Thanks

It’s a little difficult to know what type of piping you are using without taking a look at your survey. It could be a good idea to reach out to SurveyGizmo Support since you will be able to show them your survey and walk through the process:

It also maybe seems like piping is not required in this situation, which might give you more flexibility.

For example, you could have something like this (it might also give you a cleaner data output):

Q1. Select your prefered real estate:

    A. TestA [select]

    B. TestB [select]

    C. TestC

    D. TestD [select]

Q2a. NPS for Test A (logic to only show if Test A is selected in Q1

Q2b. NPS for Test B (logic to only show if Test B is selected in Q1

Q2c. NPS for Test C (logic to only show if Test C is selected in Q1, etc…

Q3a. Why this note for TestA: […]

Q3b. Why this note for TestB: […]

    Hope this helps!

      • Thanks for your answer Dominic! We did this that you suggested to work. We just wanted to use pipe because at the first question we have more than 8 checkboxes options.
