Use a url variable to create an href link

0

Hi,

I’m passing a URL variable to my form, and I need to use the value in the URL variable to create a link. For example:

<a href=”https://website/requests/[url(“id”)]”>#[url(“id”)]</a>

But when I try and use that, it will replace the square brackets like this:

<a href=”https://website/requests/%5Burl(“>#[url(“id”)]</a>

Is there a way to use the URL variable to form the href string value?

Thanks.

I would take a look at this article:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/using-merge-codes-inside-html

It offers some tips/best practices for using merge codes within things like hrefs. Hope this helps!
