[Solved] Troubleshooting User Issue

User is encountering following issue: “I can’t fill out the survey.  It thinks everything is not fillable.”

User is using IE9.  Any suggestions for troubleshooting this issue?

    Hey Nancy – I’ve heard of this happening before in IE 9 and have been able to resolve it. I think what is happening is that they are not seeing the input buttons for radio buttons and checkboxes. To fix this just go to Style>Layout>Layout Options and select to turn on Default Radio Buttons and Checkboxes.

    @ Mary L- I think the sentence in that article is referring to users working in the SurveyGizmo app. After that quote it says “Survey taking is supported in all browsers.”

      Hi Nancy,

      I have had some users experience similar trouble when they are not using the latest version of the browser.  If you look at this article, Supported Browsers and Screen Resolutions, it says:

      “If you are using IE 9 or below and are not at liberty to update your browser, we recommend requesting that your IT department implement Enterprise Mode for the best experience. It is also worth nothing that Microsoft has announced that starting January 12, 2016 older versions of IE are no longer supported: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/End-of-IE-support”

        There are times when there is browser issues, I have always suggested the respondent to try another browser. I for example struggle with IE but have great success with Mozilla.
