Getting responses from survey takers that leads me to believe the logic question I set up is not working for some people. It tested OK and most respondents are completing the survey. The question that triggers the logic is a yes or no. If the respondent answers no, the next two questions are bypassed. If yes, the next two questions pop up and are required. However, some respondents say they can’t get stuck here and cannot complete the survey. So either they are responding yes but think they are responding no, or the logic isn’t working as it should.
Tests were clean, and when I preview the questions in Build mode, things appear to act correctly. Is there something I am missing? The only way I can think of to deal with a possible error is to not make the two subsequent questions required. Any other ideas?
It’s a bit tough to say – You mentioned that respondents are getting stuck – did they provide any specifics? Are they seeing error messages?
I guess I’m just not entirely clear on what trouble the respondents are having specifically (i.e. how they are getting stuck).
