testing the survey while it is open

A respondent has written to me about a problem with a survey that is now active. We did not encounter the problem he’s describing when we pretested the survey. I would like to take the survey without having my responses counted. Is that possible?

Thank you

This is possible.  Open the survey for editing and go to the TEST tab.  When that tab opens, click on the INVITE OTHERS TO TEST link.  Then click on the INVITE BY OTHER SYSTEM link.  This will give you a link that you can use to test your survey.  See the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/testing-your-survey#step-3-invite-others-to-test.

When you use this link your response will be recorded, but it will be flagged as a TEST response.  You will be able to open the INDIVIDUAL RESPONSE tab and delete your test response.  See the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/viewing-responses#deleting-responses
