I have a requirement to provide langauage specific survey link based on customer language. While creating a multilanguage survey, I will get only one link which will be redirected to default English language. Example https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2502652/CopyMyLanguageSurvey. My survey has two lanuages English and Spanish. To get langauage specific link, I am passing sglocale parameter to the survey link. Example for Spanish , I will pass the link https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2502652/CopyMyLanguageSurvey?sglocale=es and for English , https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2502652/CopyMyLanguageSurvey?sglocale=en. It works for me now.
Is this a proper way to get specific survey links or is there any other options to get language specific links? Please advise
The process you are looking for is in the SurveyGizmo documentation – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/an-alternative-to-the-language-bar#step-1-create-language-specific-links
There is also a more passive approach – you can set the survey up so that it queries the respondent’s browser settings for the language setting and then displays the appropriate survey – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/share-options-for-multilingual-surveys#option-1-set-up-your-share-links-to-use-the-auto-language-setting-default-
Hope this is helpful.
