I would like my survey takers to access the definition of survey items for common understanding. Can I do that in Survey Gizmo?
Are you wanting to have a page where survey takers can read through a list of your terms and their definitions (like a glossary)? If so, you can add a ‘text element’ to any page on your survey where you can present this information:
There is another option that I’ve seen folks use – adding hover over tool tips to text in the survey:
This does require some familiarity with HTML and CSS but it’s a good way to approach this.
Hope this helps!
You can compile all of your definitions in Word or a PDF and upload it to the file library and embed the downloadable document into your survey.
Navigate to Account -> Libraries -> File Library
Once there, click “Add Files” then “Choose Files” to select your document. Give your document a title (I’ve named mine Example) then save. This will take you back to the File Library page. Identify your document, click “edit” on the right hand side.
By clicking edit you’ll be able to get the Embed Code of your document. Copy the code, create a text/instructions media field in your survey and paste the code.
Your participants will simply click the link and your document will download.
