I went to collect survey results and it disappeared. The last time I used it was 12.3.2017. How can I get that back? I assume someone else deleted it by accident.
Assuming you are on a multi-user account, it may be that the survey was moved to a different team that you don’t have access to (or perhaps deleted like you mentioned).
In either case, there will be options for restoring the survey. You will probably need to reach out to your Account Administrator. Account Admins have access to all surveys. The Admin should be able to confirm if the survey was deleted.
If the survey was deleted, it can be restored via these options:
Depending on your permissions within your account, you might have access to this restore option so it’s a good place to check first.
If the survey was moved to a different team (the Admin should be able to confirm this), the Admin will have two options:
- You can be added to the team that the survey is on to gain access to it
- The survey can be moved back to a team that you are a part of

Is your survey missing, or the responses?
If you survey is missing, look for it in the ARCHIVED or DELETED folder of your HOME page. If your survey is not there and you are in a multi-user account, you will have to ask your account admin to restore your rights to edit the survey. If you have a single user account you will have to contact SurveyGizmo Support for additional assistance.
If your responses are missing, you can open the RESULTS > INDIVIDUAL RESPONSE tab, sue the SHOW: DELETED link to show deleted responses, and use the bulk action function to restore them. See the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/viewing-responses.
The one thing to remember is that for surveys and responses, the term DELETED does not mean that it has been erased. Deleting something just changes it status setting and removes it from view. You can change a survey or responses status and make it visible again.
