[Solved] Support of Cyrillic fonts in Exports

0

Hello,

Currently if I try to export in the *.CSV format, when I open it, it does not support Cyrillic types.

What can I do?

Thank you,

BR,

Artem

Hi Artem! CSV exports from SurveyGizmo are encoded in Unicode (UTF-8), which does support Cyrillic characters I am happy to say :)

Most often when a CSV file is not able to be opened properly, it is because the application opening the CSV file does not detect or handle Unicode encoding correctly. Microsoft Excel is the biggest offender here, though workarounds do exist to “import” UTF-8 encoded files. See the accepted answer to this StackOverflow question for more details:

    I hope this helps!

The XLS version of the export should support these characters without issue – CSV do not handle these special characters too well.

      Give the XLS a try.

      Hope that helps!
