[Solved] Summarize averages based on a multiple elements

I am wondering if I can produce a statistical average for a number of different elements.  I have my survey set up in sections and would like to produce one number (statistical) average/section or category of the survey.

    Hi Susan,

To the best of my knowledge, SurveyGizmo reports are not able to calculate an average on a group of questions. The statistics available in our Summary Reports are limited to single questions only.

The best way to achieve your goal may be to export your data using the CSV/Excel export function, and then working the raw data directly. When working with the raw data, you are able to run any calculation you like (and know how to) :)

I hope this helps to answer your question!

      • I found out about the Quiz Score/Tally feature which enables a scoring to be generated for select groupings of questions. It works beautifully.

      • Oh wow, that IS an awesome solution! You should submit your comment as an answer, because your comment should be the accepted answer :)
