In the upcoming version of Chrome 62 due in October described in this blog post a warning message in the URL bar will display when the user starts entering data in forms over an unencrypted connection: https://blog.chromium.org/2017/04/next-steps-toward-more-connection.html
Currently Survey Gizmo defaults to http links rather than https links. I imagine many respondents are going to unwilling to fill out a survey as soon as they notice the “Not secure” message pop up in the URL bar.
Would it be possible for Survey Gizmo to default to secure links when sharing both via single link and campaign? I’ve started trying to get into the habit of setting links as secure, but I can see myself on occasion forgetting to set this and it will be a real mess if we realise after invites have been sent out.
I wasn’t aware of that option. For my purposes that will work fine. Thanks.
Thank you for this feedback! We actually have a account-level setting to force all of your share links to be secure: https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/secure-links#force-secure-https-links
I will discuss the information you sent along from Chrome with our development team to see if we want to do this across the board.
Thank you for the suggestion!
