We are using the REST API to store user responses to survey questions. We have a custom user id that we would like to associate with the Survey Response. I don’t see anything in the REST API docs that lets me store a custom value as part of a Response object. I see ‘data[questionID]’ parameters in order to set the responses to each question, but what I would like is the ability to set a value on the response set as a whole that indicates the user id.
You can do this with URL variables if you take the survey using the generated survey links from SurveyGizmo…however, we are using the REST API to grab each survey and its questions and are displaying in our own proprietary format.
A webserver can show data from Parse on a website.
You can upload large amounts of data that will later be consumed in a mobile app.
You can download recent data to run your own custom analytics.
Applications written in any programming language can interact with data on Parse.
You can export all of your data if you no longer want to use Parse
For POST and PUT requests, the request body must be JSON, with the Content-Type header set to application/json.
Authentication is done via HTTP headers. The X-Parse-Application-Id header identifies which application you are accessing, and the X-Parse-REST-API-Key header authenticates the endpoint.
Any updates on this?
