[Solved] Star Rating Question

1

I find it odd that there is not a stand alone version of the Star Rating question.  It only comes in the option as a grid.  Has anyone figured out a way to implement styling to make this question look presentable if using it as a stand-alone (one row)?  The first image is how it currently is.  It would be nice to have something like the second image.  You would think Survey Gizmo would implement this.

      Thank you for the thread. it was most helpful.

      I made a quick modification for anyone who wants it.

      I wanted the title but not the first column so I added the  simple-star .sg-first-cell  below and took off the title.

      .simple-star .sg-first-cell {
      display:none;
      }
      .simple-star .sg-question-options .sg-header-row-first {
      display:none;
      }
      .simple-star .sg-control-label {
      display:none !important;
      }

      Thank you again.

        As a temporary measure, if you give the question a custom CSS Class Name of simple-star on the Layout tab and then use the following custom CSS (Style tab, then scroll to the bottom right and choose HTML/CSS Editor) it looks more like what you want.

        .simple-star .sg-question-title {
        display:none;
        }
        .simple-star .sg-question-options .sg-header-row-first {
        display:none;
        }
        .simple-star .sg-control-label {
        display:none !important;
        }
