I am trying to pull an SPSS export from a not particularly long or complicated survey. It has been stalled at 1% complete for more than a half hour. Refreshing the browser doesn’t seem to help.

I don’t work for SurveyGizmo, so I can’t offer a exact technical explanation for this problem. However I use SurveyGizmo and several other online applications and have seen this type of problem before when we download large data files. We usually assume that a temporary loss of connection has occurred. This could be a traffic problem at the SurveyGizmo web servers or any problem in the series of connections between that server and our computers. We wait about 2-4 minutes and if no progress has been made we just start the download process over again.
i am speaking from experience and not technical knowledge. I know that a brief loss of internet connectivity will interrupt a file download, and that sometimes your best option is just to start over.
