Sequential Evaluations: How to aggregate the data from Product Tried First (Code A) with those trying (Code A) Second

0

I have a taste test where respondents are trying two products:  Product A and Product B.  Half of the consumers are trying Product A first, the other half are trying Product B first.

I ask the same series of questions of both product A & B.

I asked a question to collect which product they tried FIRST (inferring the other one was tried second).

I set this up in the survey where I repeated the entire block of questions for the second product trial.

Is there a way I can aggregate the data from Product A regardless of trial position?  (For example:  Overall Liking for Product A Tried First + Overall Liking for Product A Tried Second).

It sounds like you have two sets of questions for each product, one set for when the product was tried first and one set for when the product was tried second (four sets total), is that correct?

If so, there is not a way to aggregate data across multiple questions in one survey. You could create a copy of the survey, export the data from the original, consolidate the data, and then use the data import tool to import the consolidated data into the copied survey.

Here are some help docs to reference the above process if you want to pursue it:

    Hope this helps!
