Results Analysis

I want to view the open tex responses grouped by one of my multiple-choice Checkbox questions.  I tried the Crosstab report, but it doesn’t appear that text questions are an eligible question type for this type of analysis.  I tried the Comparison report, but couldn’t get the Checkbox question to show up in my grouping options.  How do I accomplish this type of analysis?

It’s a bit difficult to see why the listed compatible questions would not be available to your in your specific report (since I’m not able to access your report and see the settings) – perhaps there are other settings in play on the report that are affecting its functionality.

When posting to the customer community, other SurveyGizmo users don’t have access to your account/surveys – it may be that you need to reach out to SurveyGizmo’s support team.

Me again – Okay as mentioned earlier, I setup a Crosstab report and realized that I wasn’t able to pull in my Likert scale question for a Row (Stub) element.  Yet Likert is listed as a compatible question type in the list I screenshotted above.  Here’s the link to the survey: link removed by Moderator

Wait up – your help file says that Checkboxes are an eligible question type, but they didn’t show up in the dropdown when setting up the Crosstab report.  Maybe your documentation is incorrect?  See screenshot, including URL below.  I just created another survey using Radio Buttons and the crosstab analysis is working great!

I suggest exploring both Filtering and Segmentation within the Standard Report:

Filtering allows you to drill down the entire report’s data according to a condition or conditions that you have applied:

          https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/filter-report-data

Segmenting allows you to group your report data according to something like question answers:

          I hope this helps!
