“Response ID does not exist, please try again”

I’ve come back to try out SurveyGizmo after several years with Qualtrics, and almost immediately ran into this ominous problem:

I’ve launched several surveys with straightforward design features — one skip, but otherwise simple, linear design. After two days of survey submissions and data recorded as expected, all incoming data only includes start and completion timing — no survey data.

Clicking on individual responses — even previously (correctly) recorded data — generates the warning, “Response ID does not exist, please try again.”

Data export confirms that new data is not being recorded, but older data is not lost.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a solution beyond hoping customer service gets to it ASAP?

    Hi Jonathan,

    We have several ongoing surveys at the moment, but we have not found any problems with the responses.

    SurveyGizmo did report a problem with response processing on June 2, so it is possible that this is the source of your problem.  You can review the current status of SurveyGizmo, as well as a summary of recent incident reports at the SurveyGizmo Status page – http://surveygizmo.statuspage.io/
