In one of my surveys I have checked the Post Survey Action of “Send Confirmation Email To: Respondent”. Currently, I have all survey fields being displayed as merge fields in the Message Body. However, I would like to limit the merge fields that appear in the email to only those fields that have been answered as part of the survey taken.
Is this possible?
There is not a setting for this specifically (as the merge codes that you place into the body of the message are not dependent on whether the question was answered or not).
The best built in option for this might be to utilize the ‘attach PDF’ option:
This will provide you with a setting to ‘only include questions that were answered’ (within the PDF).
