How can I make my question automatically proceed to the the end of the survey on mobile phone with not mobile optimized layout?

Hi guys,

I have a problem I can’t solve for days. I have an application in which I want to ask respondents one question (likert scale 1-5) and then automatically end the survey. The problem is, radio button question on mobile phone (adapted) doesn’t look good enough for our needs, so I had to rollback to not mobile optimized layout.

So the exact problem is: I just can’t make the survey end when I answer the question (without submit button), if I want it to look like normal radio button question on mobile phone.

Any solution is really highly appreciated!!

I’ve found a solution for desktop version from @Jacob Hayslett – link to thread

$(document).ready(function() {
     // make following action fire when radio button changes
     $(‘input[type=radio]’).change(function(){
          // find the submit button and click it on the previous action
          $(‘input[type=submit]’).click()
          });
     });

But I don’t know how to make it work on mobile phone.

Thanks guys!

    This same script should work on a mobile version of your survey (as long as it is not mobile optimized). One thing you have to be really careful about is the use of smart quotes or apostrophes as they will break the script syntax.

    Note the same script without smart quotes:

    $(document).ready(function() {
    $(‘input[type=radio]’).change(function(){
    $(‘input[type=submit]’).click()
    });
    });

    (the apostrophes here are not stylized in any manner)

    I suggest copying the script I have here and giving this a try!

    Cheers!
