I am not sure if this is possible and the pull functionality is a bit confusing but thought I would ask just in case.
I have a use case where I would like to query records in Salesforce based on question answers in survey gizmo.
The example I have is that an account manager is a contact record in Salesforce and it has an email address that will be unique. I would like to ask the respondent for the account managers email address and for this then to query Salesforce and get the unique contact id.
I can then use this contact id later in the survey to link the account manager to another object I am going to create.
Is this possible?
This sounds like it will be possible.
You would need to first ask for the account manager’s email address and would have a Salesforce Pull action on the following page that looks at the email address question to pull the contact with that email.
You should then be able to grab the contact ID of the account manager based on email and use it later in the survey.
Step 4 in the PULL setup is where you would reference the question that collects the email address:
I might recommend reaching out to SG Support for assistance in walking through this process. You can reach them via live chat or email via the NEED HELP menu when you are logged into your SG account.
I hope this helps!
