What is the process for breaking up email lists into small batches and send in waves?

In the documentation for recommendations when dealing with high AOL/Comcast bounce rates  SurveyGizmo recommends “break[ing] up large lists of these addresses into smaller batches and send in waves.”

What is the process for exactly doing that in SurveyGizmo?

Does this mean creating one email campaign for each small batch?

Does this mean creating one email campaign, but uploading only a portion of the contacts at one time, sending the campaign, and then repeating for each small batch? And if so, wouldn’t you lose the ability to “small batch” in reminders?

Is there another method I’m not thinking of?

@RymesWithGive : We recommend breaking up contacts into separate campaigns just for ease of set up.

You can keep them in the same campaign but you would need to upload contacts, send out that batch, and then upload the second set. The trouble with this method is that you would have to wait until the initial batch was finished sending and because sends are queued up in our system there’s not a lot of visibility into when the send is finished.

For this reason we recommend setting up separate campaigns!

    I hope this helps!
