How can you prevent duplicate responses in a text box list question?

0

Hi… I’m creating a survey that uses text box list questions. Specifically, I’m asking respondents to indicate their first and second choices in several categories based on a known list of options that I’ve populated in the validation tab.

I would like to have it so that an option selected as the first choice is removed from the list of possibilities in the second choice, but it doesn’t seem to be possible to do this. Am I right?

It’s not compatible with Textbox Lists questions, but if you can use a different question type (maybe checkboxes), SurveyGizmo’s piping options are worth exploring:

You can also pipe un-selected items:

    Hope this helps!
