Piping + No answere option – is there a way to not show the no answer option when nothing is piped?

I use piping and I want to add a no answer option to the question. Is there a way to not show the no answer option when nothing is piped?

For example

  1. Checkbox Question: Which of the following brands do you know: A B C Non
  2. Checkbox Question: Which brands have you used – (Pipe Selected (q1)) + Non
  3. Checkbox Question: Which brands are generally worse to consider: Pipe unseledted (q2) + Non

So if all options in q2 are chosen q3 shows only the non checkbox…

Rather than using piping (which is a little limited in terms of your specific scenario), I suggest using answer option logic:

This allows you to specific conditions for triggering specific answers to display in follow-up questions. So using your example:

Show Brand A in Question 2 if Brand A is selected in Question 1…

    Hope this helps!

      Thanks for your answere!

I also tried that. But unfortunately I have the same problem with this solution. The problem occurs only between question 2 and 3.

        • I think rather than piping through the NA options, you should have the NA as a hard coded answer in each of the first 2 questions.

Then, on both questions edit the NA answer options and set the ‘Always Exclude From Piping’ setting for both NAs to ‘Yes’.

This way, if all options are chosen in Q2 – nothing would be piped through since the NA would be excluded.

          Hope this helps!
