Can I use piping using 2 conditions?

0

Hello,

I would like to build a question that involves answers from 2 previous questions:

  • brands mentioned at one question (q1)
  • but brands do not mentioned at another question (q2)

I have tried to use checkbox grid for the question I am building and for the brands exposed on the rows I have added extra logic (show up if mentioned at q1 and not mentioned at q2). Although this works from the piping perspective, it does not work from 2 other perspectives:

-the answer options on the column are too many and are not very well exhibited;

-this format does not allow including the Other (write in) option.

Can anyone advise on this?

Thanks a lot.

Regards

Zoe

    I’m not sure if I follow complete (but perhaps there might be an option to not use piping). If you use logic on the checkbox grid rows only, this could be a good option and allow you to use the ‘other’ row:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/setup-question-logic#show-hide-rows-of-a-grid-question

    So you could have all the possible rows built into the checkbox grid and show certain rows based on q1 and show other rows based on q2. You should then be able to use the other row option, too:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/other-row-headers

    Hope this is helpful!
