I need to be able to count the number of times a question was answered in total (from all respondents).
For example I have 3 questions and I display Q2 only to respondents that answered Option 1 in Q1, now I also want to add a logic so that Q2 will NOT be displayed after 300 respondents already answered it, I still want them to continuum the survey and will be abled to ‘complete’ it, without answering Q2 (that were not displayed to them).
Because I do want them to finish the survey I can’t use quotas.
Any other ideas for I can I do that?
You could maybe explore Answer Option Limits (though it’s probably not exactly what you are looking for):
As an alternate option, there is a Custom Scripting function that allows you to get a question’s answer count:
Which you could then use to hide the question using this function:
I’m not sure what your comfort level with scripting is, but this might be a good option. Hope this helps!
Thank you very much for your answer.
I’m exploring the ‘custom script’ option, I’m quite familiar with it and it also looks like the best bet.
Do you have any indication if this function (sgapiGetQuestionResponseCount) reads the data of ALL respondents including partials or just completes?
