Is it normal to have a lot (more than 50%) of submitted responses with no questions answered?

This is the first time I’ve used Survey Gizmo for a survey.  The results tab shows 31 submitted responses, but 17 of those are completely blank, no questions have been answered.  Is this normal?

It depends on the type of survey and your targeted respondents.  You can get a better picture of what is going on by exporting your responses to an Excel spreadsheet and looking at the TIME STARTED and DATE SUBMITTED fields.  Look to see if people are just clicking on the survey link and then closing it after a few seconds.

You can also use the FALL OFF STATISTICS report.  Review the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/fall-off-statistics
