We have a question in our survey that asks for an email address if the respondent is interested in staying informed about ArtGeek … in other words, opting in to our newsletter.
I realize now that I didn’t think about how I was going to collect these emails and get them into our Mailchimp list!
I’m wondering what are my options for doing this?
That definitely helps, Lola. Thanks a million! Jane
Likely the simplest option will be to ‘export’ your survey’s raw data:
The export will provide you with an excel spreadsheet – one of the columns in the spreadsheet will contain the collected email address.
You can likely at that point remove all of the other data from the spreadsheet and upload the email addresses into MailChimp.
You might want to explore a more automated method for the longterm. Both SurveyGizmo and MailChimp can be connected via Zapier (you can have the email addresses automatically added this way, but will likely need to explore the ins and outs of the setup):
Hope this helps!
