[Solved] For MaxDiff Questions, how can I remove the count of sets

0

This is especially important because I have some questions where users are just shown one set. Here the survey shows “1 of 1 sets”. How can I remove this?

    Add the following code to the CUSTOM CSS section of your current style template:

              .sg-maxdiff-progress.sg-counter{visibility:hidden;}

    You can learn more about customizing the style template in the SurveyGizmo documentation:

    http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/style-your-survey#custom-css-and-html

      Hi Jim,

      thanks a lot, that works perfectly. Just one more question: I have several MaxDiff questions in my survey and while I want to omit the counter for some of them (those with only one set) I want to show it for others? Is it possible to specify that in the CSS, too?

      Regards, Christof

        You can apply custom CSS to specific questions.  The process is easy but there are a lot of steps.  There is an article in the SurveyGizmo template that explains the process – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/css-class-names

        There is an another, shorter artcile which is simply a step-by-step example – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/textbox-right

          Hi Jim,

          Thanks again. However, I don’t get it working, when I specify a class name called nosetcounter in the question’s layout tab and put the following into the CSS Editor:

          .nosetcounter label {
          .sg-maxdiff-progress.sg-counter{visibility:hidden;}
          }

          Where have I gone wrong?

            • Try it this way:
              nosetcounter sg-maxdiff-progress.sg-counter {visibility:hidden;}

            • It works when I put two more dots:
              .nosetcounter .sg-maxdiff-progress.sg-counter {visibility:hidden;}

              thanks again for your help, jim!
