[Solved] Making a tally quiz score adding up negative and positiv numbers

0

I have 2 checkbox questions with 8 alternatives each.

I want to give the respondent a different message if they marked more alternatives on question one than question 2 and vice versa.

I have added a tallly quiz score and given all alternatives from question 1 a value of 1 and all alternatives for question 2 a value of -1 one.

This is where is does not work. The highest and lowest possible value becomes 0 in both cases. But this is not correct. The highest and lowest possible value is 8 and -8.

What am i doing wrong?

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for posting to the community! :)

If you save your tally score, the maximum and minimum scores should add up correctly. If this isn’t happening, please contact our support team about this!

Secondly, you may want to take a different approach to this! The quiz score idea is a great idea and should work for you, however, we have a document that shows you how to base logic on the number of options checked in a checkbox question:

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you very much,

Hi Ryan – I’m having the same trouble getting my tally to add correctly.

Were you able to figure this out?
