I set up a “Thank-you” email, but scheduled it to go out before the survey I plan to send next week. Basically we want to send a short message with a video thanking our clients and letting them know that next week we will send our annual client survey. We hope this increases our response rates.
I do not want this email to have a link to the survey in it.
Also, I want to send it today or tomorrow, before we plan to send the survey.
So I scheduled it to go to a few people internally this morning to make sure the video worked, etc, but it is not sending. The only thing I can think of is that even though Survey Gizmo lets you schedule a Thank you email for a set date/time, you cannot send an thank you in advance of your survey.
Has anyone tried this and had it work?
Thanks for the post!
SurveyGizmo’s email campaigns are designed to always include the survey invite link, except the Thank you message, so it was a really good idea for you to set up your messages that way!
Sadly, our Thank you emails will only send once a response has been completed by the contact, so it won’t work.
You may be able to accomplish this with an external Email client. SurveyGizmo can provide you with unique links for each contact on your email campaign so you can send out to another vendor.
Here is a link that will show you how to generate those unique links: Unique links
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Have a wonderful day!
