Individual responses NOT in free plan… did I miss that?


Hi all, after going through all the free plan features twice before the deadline of the service switch-over, I thought I’d be all good to go with the free plan.  Didn’t mind the restrictions on anything except the number of responses, which I’m a few handfuls away from needing to upgrade, so thought I’d do it when the need arose. 


The ONE thing I absolutely need, however, is access to all individual responses – and now that the switchover has been made, I’ve realized I can’t see each one (which means I can’t figure out whose email addy is whose and goes with which answers to follow up with them)… needless to say, I’m not impressed. 


My Q is: did I miss somewhere in the pre-switchover info that individual responses were NOT included on the free plan?  Or did SG just not bother telling us?  Keeping in mind, I wouldn’t have recognized it written as anything other than “individual responses not accessible on free plan.”  If there’s another term for it, could someone please enlighten me?  Since I’m ineligible for email support, I don’t even know if I’m able to complain (ahem, ask) about this anywhere other than here.


Also, does anyone know whether, upon upgrading, the individual responses collected after the switchover but before upgrading will become available??

    Thank you for your post on the SurveyGizmo Community!

    I’m sorry for the troubles with accessing your individual response data. While access to this specific tab has been limited for Free Accounts, the individualized data is still available via Results > Exports:

    Downloading a raw data CSV export will give you visibility to all of the individualized data and allow you connect the email addresses that you have collected to the associated data.

    While our original communication regarding the Free Account limitations mentioned that reporting/data would be limited to Standard Reports (, we have since opened access to the above-mentioned export option.

    We are also currently looking into options for bridging the gap between the current limitations and access to individual responses within Free Accounts.

    I apologize for the trouble and hope that the raw data export option allows you to access the information that you are looking for.

    I am happy to update this post as more information is available regarding access to individual responses in Free Accounts.
