I have a question that says: Please estimate the number of patients for whom your practice has written PrEP prescriptions in X time period:
I would like the TOTAL field to be required, and the other fields to be allowed to stay blank, rather than requiring the user to add in a 0 in a category for which they have no patients. How can I do this?
Just my two cents – a Continuous Sum question might work for you too!
What question type are you currently using?
I think the only way to do this is to have 4 separate textbox questions and only require the ‘total’ question. You could use a Custom Group question to ‘group’ these 4 separate questions together.
