I realized too late in my survey collection process that I needed to collect the e-mail addresses of participants in order to track survey completion. I have added an email collection tool to the next steps of my survey process, but I was wondering if there is a way to back track who has answered the survey?
I understand if this is a privacy issue, but I just thought I may ask because the survey has been sent to certain people’s email addresses (which i can provide for verification), and we need to track survey completion by user.
Please let me know if there is anything Survey Gizmo can do for us at this point.

Thanks for the question! I think you’ve answered most of it yourself. 🙂
However, there is a way (if the survey was distributed through an email campaign) to report on email addresses even if you didn’t collect that information within the survey itself. There’s an option to, “Export Contacts with Send Status.” You can learn more about it here…
If you chose NOT to use our email campaign tool and you still want to attempt to collect this information, than we would need to work with edit links. This process would involve you isolating respondents who did not get the chance to provide an email address and sending them an edit link to essentially take the survey again. All of the data they provided will still be there and so would the new email question you’ve built. At this point, it may be a good idea to familiarize yourself with edit links. You can do so here…
