How build a survey with a list of checkbox or radiobutton accessible for blind people?

I have test a survey for blind people with experts.

There is some problem of usability: Sometimes the main question isn’t read by screen reader with tabulation.

Exemple: Question 13 – link removed by Community Moderator

This main question should be write with the aria-labeledby on the list of options

For my survey, It mean just to add aria-labeledby in the ul:

<ul class=”sg-list sg-list-vertical sg-list-vertical-flipped sg-labels-right” aria-labeledby=”sgE-90050673-6-34-box”>

This improve could be done? If yes, when?

Thank you for your feedback.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for posting on the SurveyGizmo Community forum. It seems like you are referring to radio buttons and/or checkboxes, however question 13 on the survey you shared is a dropdown menu – is this correct? (Please note that I have since removed this link for security reasons as this is a public forum)

    With regard to dropdown menus, SurveyGizmo utilizes the ‘label’ attribute (which is read by screen readers) as described here:

    SurveyGizmo is currently working to be compliant with the highest level requirements (AAA) of the WCAG 2.0 standards as described here:

    We hope to be implementing these changes early next year (2018).

    As of current, the following checklist describes SurveyGizmo’s compatibility with the WCAG 2.0 Standards for Web Accessibility:

    Are you seeing the errors that you described in a specific screen reader? Our Support Team should be able to assist with any troubleshooting with any specific surveys that you are seeing errors in. You can share the links privately via a Support Ticket of phone call:

    I hope this helps clarify!
