Sooo….i’m having a bit of difficulty understanding how to hide a page based on responses to a previous questions.
Page 1 is asking respondents what their favouirite food is from a list of 13 options (multi-code).
Page 2 has been set up to focus on respondents single favuourite food from the earlier page by virtue of the piping logic (this will filter through options selected earlier).
If respondents only choose one option at Page 1, how can i hide Page 2 or skip them through to Page 3 so they dont have to answer Page 2?
You don’t want to actually hide the page – in survey terminology you want to skip the page. There are two options.
The first is called a skip or a skip pattern. In the scenario you are describing, you would set up a skip condition at the end of page 1 that would then determine whether to let the respondent proceed to page 2 or skip them to page 3. You can get the details in the SurveyGizmo documentation – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/set-up-skip-logic.
Another option would be to use Page Logic so that page 2 only shows up under certain conditions. The difference is explained in the documentation – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/setup-page-logic# best-practice-tip-which-logic-option-should-i-use-.
You can hide a page by making it an ADMIN-ONLY page, but this is done for very specific reasons that are beyond the scope of your question.
