I’ve asked this question before, but I still haven’t figured it out.
I’ve created an email action to send survey results to a colleague.
I chose “Select a Merge Code” and “Merge All Questions” to get all of the questions included in the email.
However, all fields names appear in the email even if there was no response.
How to I create an email where only the answered questions appear?
There is not a way to only show answered questions when using the merge code route in the email body (short of using SurveyGizmo’s Custom Scripting to create a custom email).
The best option is likely going to be the PDF route (via the Advanced tab when editing your email action). You can include a PDF attachment of the response and there is a customization option to “Only include answered questions”:
