How do you format TIME in the Date/Time from Gizmo to pass to Salesforce?

0

How is Gizmo TIME formatted to pass to the date/time field in Salesforce to match this:

  • YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss
  • YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ
  • YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sssZ

Have tried this format:  [system(“date”) ,format=Y-m-d][system(“time”)]

which gives this error:

stdClass Object
(
[errors] => '09/19/2017' is not a valid value for the type xsd:dateTime
)

Thanks Dominic – I did see this and it talks about date but has no formatting or mention of TIME in the date/time format.

    Sorry, I need more help.

      • In taking another look at your original post, it looks like your date formatting is very close, but you are missing the “” around Y-m-d.

        Try this instead:

        [system(“date”) ,format=”Y-m-d”] [system(“time”)]

it should return something like this:

        2017-09-20 12:57 pm

        Hope this helps!

      • Also, I recommend not copying/pasting the merge codes from the post as the quotation marks here are ‘smart quotes’ that will break the merge code. I recommend using SG’s merge code helper and updating the format attribute within SurveyGizmo.

Have you taken a look at SurveyGizmo’s help article on this specific topic:

      https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/salesforce-passing-dates

It seems like there are a couple solutions documented

      Hope this helps!
