The footer in the plaintext version of my survey email still tries to include html elements. It is possible to manually edit this footer if the ‘plaintext only’ option is selected, but otherwise it is not.

Thanks for posting to our community forum! I did some digging into this one and it does appear that you are correct in that you can only edit the plain-text footer specifically if you use the “plaintext only” option. If you are planning to send out your HTML version of the campaign but suspect some recipients may receive only the plaintext, my suggestion would be to alter the footer in the HTML version in such a way that both messages receive a footer that is functional. I know this isn’t ideal but hopefully it helps!
