I am assuming that folders are associated with teams, if this is correct can a team let another team access their folder? What I am trying to understand is that if two teams are collaborating on a project and both need to access a survey; but they do not want to have all the other surveys they have in their team account accessed by the other team, what is the best way to do this.
For example, Team A and Team B are working on Project X together. Team A has a number of project they do not want Team B to have access to and visa versa. Is there a way to share a folder? Or do I have to create a new team and associate Team A and Team B with the new team so they can share a project?
Hey There –
Thanks for the inquiry! In fact, folders are not necessarily associated with specific teams. Each project is assigned to a specific team and then those projects can be organized on the dashboard of the account in any way.
Only administrative users on the account can manage ‘who can see what’. You can learn more about that process here.
In the scenario you describe above, I feel like creating a special team for the project and then allowing certain users access is the best way to go. So, assign ‘Project X’ to a new and unique team and then give the appropriate access to this new team to the the users in question.
I hope that make sense!
