[Feature Request] Add ability to redirect respondents who have already taken a survey

If a respondent has already submitted a response to a survey using cookie-based or IP-based duplicate protection, they are shown a message you can edit, but not much else. If you would like to redirect respondents to your website or perhaps the survey results instead let us know!

I think this would be a good function. It makes sense to incorporate such a feature seeing as it’s available on other terminal pages.

I had a need for this just this week. I sent a survey via email to gauge client interest in various products by asking them to click their #1 New Years resolution.

The link click auto-submitted the survey and user was taken to a page with a results chart and some articles about the resolution they chose.

Because the survey answer would be used for email segmentation later on, I needed to prevent duplicate responses. But a client who tried to respond again could not see the survey results again. They get the “you’ve already responded” text instead.

I would have loved to be able to customize what they saw.

          • Hi Brianna,

Thank you for taking the time to share this use case/scenario with us. This is definitely helpful in terms of things for us to consider while looking into this feature upgrade going forward.

          +1 On this one.

Just had a situation when I work with two panels (buying responses), and need to redirect based on duplication – with specific “banned_ip” url variable.

I know that I can probably do something with JavaScript but it’s just too much work…

This feature can be a nice addition.
