Enhancement Idea

It would be cool if we could upload an image for a collectors FavIcon. That way if deploying it via an iOS device and a webclip it will have an icon other than your branding. Not that your branding isn’t cool, it just isn’t our branding.

    Thanks. That got me headed in the right direction.

    Though I needed to add more than what was listed in that article to get a nice icon to show on the iPad.

    First I created the various files needed by using a hi-res PNG and Favicon & App Icon Generator which I then uploaded the files referenced below. I chose to use the SG File Library. Be aware that when uploading files to the SG File Library it strips the hyphen.

    Then the code added was more than a single line.

    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”57×57″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-57×57.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”60×60″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-60×60.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”72×72″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-72×72.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”76×76″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-76×76.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”114×114″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-114×114.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”120×120″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-120×120.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”144×144″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-144×144.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”152×152″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-152×152.png”>
    <link rel=”apple-touch-icon” sizes=”180×180″ href=”http://image-location/apple-icon-180×180.png”>
    <link rel=”icon” type=”image/png” sizes=”192×192″ href=”http://image-location/android-icon-192×192.png”>
    <link rel=”icon” type=”image/png” sizes=”32×32″ href=”http://image-location/favicon-32×32.png”>
    <link rel=”icon” type=”image/png” sizes=”96×96″ href=”http://image-location/favicon-96×96.png”>
    <link rel=”icon” type=”image/png” sizes=”16×16″ href=”http://image-location/favicon-16×16.png”>

    <meta name=”theme-color” content=”#ffffff”>

      You can use a custom favicon.  Check the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/replace-surveygizmo-logo
