Email Effectiveness

I continue to have challenges with emails going out.  I have read the following which is very helpful.

https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/change-from-address#change-the-from-email-address-in-email-campaigns

My emails come out with headings that look as follows:

From: survey.sponsor@company.org[mailto:invites@mailer.surveygizmo.com]

Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 2:29 PM

To: survey.taker@sbcglobal.net

Subject: Important research.

Is it correct to have the [[mailto:invites@mailer.surveygizmo.com] display in the “From” line?

There are also some best practice articles about fielding email campaigns that Jim mentioned here:

We normally place someone’s name, or the name of a team in the FROM field.  And then we put their email address in the REPLY TO field.  When the email arrive, the FROM: line looks like this:

      Cokerum Institute [mailto:invites@mailer.surveygizmo.com]

I can’t speak with experience, but it seems likely that placing an email address in the FROM field may be enough to trigger a spam filter.
