I am distributing a survey via email. I want include a prepopulated contact form in my survey so that people can check/update their info. No problem, I know how to do that.
My question is, do I then have to distribute my survey using unique links? I am thinking of a recipient who wants to forward the survey to a colleague so that they can participate too. If the link is unique to the recipient, I know that it only works once. How would I get around that if I wanted recipients to be able to forward the email?
In order to pre-populate a survey response, you do have to have the link tied to the contact – you need a unique link.
For forwarding purposes, you might consider including the ‘primary share link’ in the body of the email with instructions for your respondents letting them know that if they want to send the survey to anyone else, they should use that link.
Hope this helps!
