Dealing internet issues among respondents

0

After testing the survey, most of our respondents are frustrated that if they encounter internet issues, one has to begin the survey again.

Is there a way of one automatically saving the survey responses such that if there are internet issues, one can continue from where they stopped.

The challenge is different from Save and continue where you have a long survey

Yes, the sguid protects against duplicate responses. Take a look at this section of the above article which covers the functionality of the sguid variable:

    https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/sguid-the-url-variable?#what-is-a-sguid-

Each respondent will need a link with a unique sguid variable. For example, respondent 1 would have a links such as:

    surveylink.com?sguid=respondent1

    and respondent 2 would have:

    surveylink.com?sguid=respondent2

    and so on.

These are just examples of how you might want to approach this with sguid links.

    Cheers!

The sguid variable might be helpful here:

      https://help.surveygizmo.com/help/sguid-the-url-variable

The sguid variable has a built in ‘save & continue’ functionality – it doesn’t require respondents to type in their email and have a continue link sent to them.

      Hope this helps!

But will use of a squid variable avoid duplicate answers? Most of our respondents share the laptops.

So how do we deal with internet issues and still ensure that respondents sharing laptops can take the survey?
