[Solved] How do I create unique survey links?

I need the survey taker to complete the same survey for different people?  How can I make unique links with the person’s name in the IP address?

    Hey There –

So, you could create a unique URL for each respondent by creating a unique variable in each link. Then, you could capture that variable in the survey by way of a hidden value action. So, first, this is what your links would look like…

    http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1749261/examplesurvey?respondent=JohnSmith
    http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1749261/examplesurvey?respondent=SallyRide
    http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1749261/examplesurvey?respondent=ThomasJefferson
    http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1749261/examplesurvey?respondent=BuzzAldrin

You would want to make sure you’ve build a hidden value action in your survey at the very beginning. You can learn about those here…

Your set up would look something like this…

    Replacing xxx with respondent

Then the value of ‘respondent’ would be a part of the data set when you export this data into an Excel Export. :)
