I have two surveys in survey gizmo and I was wondering if I could compare the data here or do I have to export it to spss
There is no built-in capability that would allow you to compare one survey against another within SurveyGizmo. You could create reports for each survey and then integrate the charts from one report into the other report – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/combined-summary-report (please note that you will have to contact SurveyGizmo support to access this capability). But for an in-depth analysis I think that your best option would be to import both data sets into SPSS.
Can this be turned into a feature request for the product? Compare Results of 2 surveys.
Another option for future use:
If you administering an identical survey to different groups you may want to consider using a single survey and providing each group with a different tracking link. See the SurveyGizmo documentation for details – http://help.surveygizmo.com/help/article/link/tracking-links
We use this method for post-event evaluations, creating tracking links for each event. This allows us to compare and contrast responses across different events at different times. YMMV – good luck!
